The Western Shelter Portable Relief Station Kit features a single-stall, fully enclosed field toilet. The Relief Station is quickly and easily assembled from the same articulated aluminum frame components as the popular Western Shelter single-stall shower.  The interior floor and cabinet is a one-piece, folding aluminum component that folds flat for storage, yet is very rigid when installed.

A collapsible poly-box, lined with disposable containment bags, is positioned beneath the toilet seat to hold the sealed Brief Relief pouches for later collection and disposal.

Brief Relief is a system of re-closeable, disposable pouches with an enzyme/polymer mix that gels in contact with liquid and solid waste.  It is designed for use by both men and women.  It is approved in all 50 states within the U.S. for disposal in any non-recycle trash receptacle.  Brief Relief is the standard by which professionals support themselves in the field.

The Western Shelter Toilet-In-A-Box (WS-BRTB) is a take-anywhere system that combines the field-proven convenience of Brief Relief™ liquid and solid waste pouch products with a user-friendly hygiene system that incorporates storage, transport, and operation in a single case.

The unique two-way lid system provides protection for the seat during transport and access to individualized supplies in the lower compartment upon deployment.  During transport, the lower compartment contains enough supplies for 100 people for one day, plus two durable, 5-gallon emergency commodes with screw-on-lids and padded seats.  Re-supply items can be purchased separately.

Upon deployment, one Commode bucket can be positioned under the seat to support the individualized personal hygiene pouches, while the other can store used pouches prior to being legally disposed of in a regular, non-recycle trash container.  The Commode buckets and Restroom Kits can also be used wherever personal privacy is available.

Used by most utility, telecommunications, and disaster response field operations nationwide, the Brief Relief system includes products for liquid wastes and for solid wastes.

For liquid wastes, the Brief Relief features a personal-sized pouch which is spill-proof, leak-proof, and safe for trash container disposal.  It is constructed of 4 mil. polyethylene.  It has a unique locking handle for ease of use by both men and women.  A proprietary blend of polymers and enzymes converts urine into a lemon-scented gel.

For solid wastes, the Disposa-John™ is a gas-impervious bag and heavy-duty liner that is placed into the toilet bucket for support before use.  The spill-proof, leak-proof bag contains the polymer and enzyme chemicals that immediately begins breaking down the waste into a disposable mixture.  Tissue and antiseptic towellette included in each package.
