The Western Shelter Hygiene Center is a unique, patent-pending system that combines our field-proven and convenient hot and cold water shower and sink system with the Brief Relief® liquid and solid waste toilet products in a user-friendly and private hygiene space.   Utilizing the standarized frame and vinyl roof, wall, and floor system of the Connecting Vestibule, the Hygiene Center can be quickly attached to both the GK20 and GK1935 octagonal shelters in a variety of positions.

Quality Construction for Dependability

Aircraft-quality aluminum framing and cabinets/cases are powder-coated and water resistant. The roofs, floors, and walls are heavy-duty UV and fungicidal-treated vinyl. Heavy-duty zippers for door closures, and high-quality plumbing components ensure durability in field operations.

Stand-Alone Toilet is Self-Storing

The unique two-way lid system provides protection for the seat during transport and access to individualized supplies in the lower compartment upon deployment.  
Individualized Brief Relief® liquid and solid waste hygiene pouches are designed for use by both men and women.  They are EPA-legal for disposal in any regular, non-recyclable trash container, because of the pouche’s gel-based polymer and enzyme chemical treatment.

Hot and Cold Running Water in Sink

This surgical sink delivers on-demand hot and cold water.   The sink processes hot water for both the sink and the shower. Its thermostatic temperature control maintains hot water to within 2-degrees during operation.

Hot Showers in a Private, Over-Sized Space

This 44” x 44” x 75” shower provides adjustable hot and cold water in a fully-enclosed, private space. The water distribution system includes a sump pump to maintain water level to within 1/8-inch of the berm bottom.  A rubber mat keeps feet above the standing water.  The enclosed shower shares an all-weather light with the toilet space.
Connected to the Hygiene Center’s water distribution system, the sink draws from a 150-gallon potable water bladder. Gray water is stored in the system’s 150-gallon gray water bladder.
