MOBILE ACUTE CARE CENTER

The GateKeeper system of portable, emergency medical facilities provides the most effective and efficient means of supporting a massive medical response. Capable of modular expansion, these GateKeeper Acute Care Centers can scale-up to accommodate 1,000 beds or more.

Based on the DoD Domestic Preparedness Program (http://www.hrsa.gov/bioterrorism/resources/ACC_BlueBook.htm), the Mass Casualty Care Strategy For Biological Terrorism Incidents outlines the concept of responding to mass casualty events with 50-bed modular hospital units that can treat patients who need inpatient treatment, but do not require advanced life support.

As configured the MEMS facility provides 5,650 sq. ft. of usable floor space in an area approximately 120-feet by 80-feet.

GateKeeper is engineered to provide a clean, climate-controlled, safe medical environment for a long-term event.

Western Shelter products are normally manufactured with Desert Sand color vinyl.  All Western Shelter vinyl products are also available as MilSpec and Berry Amendment compliant in Desert Sand, Beige, and OD Green.

Estimated set-up time: 

• 3 hour minimum for the standard MEMS-56 package
• 3 hour 40 minutes for the complete MEMS-56, fully powered, shelters connected and climate controlled
  No lift truck, ladders or special tools required.
