Western Shelter Systems' cases were designed to accommodate the NDMS basic load and the USAR basic load.  These cases provide protective storage and transportation for Shelters, Water Handling Distribution Kits and Pumps, Shower Systems, Lighting and Electrical Systems, Shelter Floor, Door Ramps, Insulation Kits, Potable and Gray Water Bladder Kits, Water Purification, and other logistical support equipment.  Our cases provide compact, portable storage to make rapid deployment of Shelter systems easy and effective. The cases are designed, and the recommended loads configured, for easy carrying so that no handle supports more than 55 lbs. of weight.

Each case is constructed in .080” 6016-T6 aluminum with powder-coated finish, foam padding, heavy-duty recessed lifting handles, and recessed latches.  The cases are manufactured with a unique “Dimple Process” which allows the cases to securely stack on each other and so that they will not shift or slide during transport.  The case tops are completely removable and, once deployed, a selected group of cases can be fitted with a conversion kit to enable the case to function as a desk or work surface.
