FY2009 Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS)

MMRS grants support local preparedness efforts to respond to all-hazards mass casualty incidents, including epidemic disease outbreaks, natural disasters, large-scale hazardous materials incidents, and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive attacks.

FY2010 Emergency Operations Center Grant Program (EOC)

The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Grant Program is intended to improve emergency management and preparedness capabilities by supporting flexible, sustainable, secure, and interoperable Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) with a focus on addressing identified deficiencies and needs.

FY2009 Port Security Grant Program (PSGP)

The PSGP provides grant funding to port areas for the protection of critical port infrastructure from terrorism. PSGP funds help ports enhance their risk management capabilities, domain awareness, training and exercises, and capabilities to prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from attacks involving improvised explosive devices and other non-conventional weapons.

FY2009 State Homeland Security Program (SHSP)

SHSP supports the implementation of the State Homeland Security Strategies to address the identified planning, equipment, training, and exercise needs for acts of terrorism.

FY2009 Transit Security Grant Program (TSGP)

The TSGP provides grants to the Nation’s key high-threat Urban Areas to enhance security measures for their critical transit infrastructure including bus, rail, and ferry systems. This year, the TSGP will also provide funding to Amtrak for continued security enhancements for its intercity rail operations between key, high-risk Urban Areas throughout the United States.

FY2009 Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) program

This program provides funding to high-risk urban areas based on risk and effectiveness.

FY2009 Citizen Corps Program (CCP)

Citizen Corps’ mission is to bring together community and government leaders to coordinate community involvement in emergency preparedness, planning, mitigation, response and recovery.

FY2009 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG)

The EMPG program assists State and local governments to sustain and enhance all-hazards emergency management capabilities. States have the opportunity to use EMPG funds to further strengthen their ability to support emergency management activities while simultaneously addressing issues of national concern as identified in the National Priorities of the National Preparedness Guidelines.

FY2009 Infrastructure Protection Program: Intercity Bus Security (IBSGP)

The IBSGP provides funding to create a sustainable program to protect intercity bus systems and the traveling public from terrorism.

Public Safety Interoperable Communications (PSIC) Grant Program

PSIC Grant Program seeks to achieve meaningful and measurable improvements in the state of interoperability for public safety communications and fill interoperability gaps identified in the Statewide Plans.

Integrated AEL / SEL Display

To support the response community, the RKB has developed an integrated format that displays both SEL and AEL information in a single record. This choice will provide all of the information from both lists without the need for cross-references.
