In an all-hazard response situation the GateKeeper I-20 (GK-20) can assist first responders as a shelter solution in emergency healthcare, law enforcement, disaster medicine, urban search & rescue, disaster mortuary, disaster veterinary, and more. The GK-20 meets the needs as a facility to offer initial control/entry and protection of a hospital, initial triage, patient registration, administration, outpatient support, record keeping, command center, staff quarters, common area, sleeping, etc.

Each GateKeeper shelter is packaged with its own vestibule connector kit, maximizing its interoperability with other agencies in the field that utilize the Western Shelter and GateKeeper brand. The shelter is ready to connect to additional HO/GK-20 and HS/GK-1935 facilities allowing infinite scalability and configurations. 

Western Shelter products are normally manufactured with Desert Sand color vinyl.  All Western Shelter vinyl products are also available as MilSpec and Berry Amendment compliant in Desert Sand, Beige, and OD Green. 

Estimated Set-Up time: Based on a four person team (with one trained individual)

• 20 Minutes for the standard GK-20 package
• 30 Minutes for the complete GK-20, fully powered, and climate controlled
• Additional 10 minutes when attaching shelter via vestibule
• No lift truck, ladders or special tools required
